Success

Oliver has been working on writing his name, first and last, for the last month or more.  His motivation, besides pride and the fact that he could technically apply for a credit card now, was to get a library card.  His daycare takes the city bus to the public library every Monday.  Kids that can write their name get to apply for a card, check out books and take them home.  H U G E motivation when you are 3.  Actually, it would work for this 39 year old (I can say that for one more week!) if I hadn't already mastered this skill.  Today, Oliver did it.  This is the actual Richland Library application that we'll turn in this weekend.   He is more than proud of himself.

Yes! I can't think of a better motivator. And that's quite impressive. My 5-yr old's can't write his last name, and the "Walter" is pretty shaky.
